CAR. Let me tell you about their album. The third track is an engine. The fifth track is the ignition. The track after that is the brakes squealing.
Friday was a silly time. It was the baritone party and it was all snowy and cold. It was originally going to be a formal party and we were going to go to the park. There was a foot of snow and the windchill was -?. It doesn't really matter how negative it is once it's negative. Anyhow, I thought to myself, this is silly, why would we get all dressed up if it's to cold to go anywhere. Then Kristina called and she had been thinking the same thing. So I called everybody else and we didn't dress up which made things more comfortable. The party was supposed to start at 3:30. Scott arrived first at 3:50, and the rest followed at various intervals later on. So as you can see, the baritones are very punctual people. Well, it got to be 4:30 or so and we're all sitting around waiting for the Samanas brothers and I, being the worrying sort of person, am worried. So I call Evan's cell phone and they are in a music store in Madison. Then I start to worry more but now it's because I have nothing for these five people to do and Blake and Evan always have the good ideas. So we watch Ocean's 11. Brilliant. We didn't have to talk for almost two hours and by then Blake and Evan got there and they made conversation for awhile until everybody else got comfortable. Thanks guys, you're good to have around. Oh, I should mention that topics of conversation included laser tag chemo-therapy, a cd by a band called Car, or maybe that was the album title, I don't know, and Evan's possibly imagined fear of cats and all sorts of weird stuff that to me and anybody who was there is hilarious but the rest of the world thinks is insane. I love stuff like that. Then we went bowling. I got my usual low score of 59 but it was really fun. Then we went to Shopko and walked around. We looked at some really stupid shirts and then sat on some resin wicker furniture, which was very nice. We talked some more and then we got up to leave. On the way out we saw a giant cardboard display TV and thought about taking it, but we didn't. I don't remember the exact reason why. Then we went to my house, ate delicious cheesecake and made fun of TV. It was enjoyable. Somehow, Tom Mackey plays into this, I'm not really sure how.

With how punctual we all are, it truly is amazing we get anything done. Hopefully this ensemble thing works out...
