Elton John is a good man, sort of. Let me rephrase. Elton John makes some excellent music. He totally married a guy, which definately annoys the crap out of me, not even a good looking guy, as if that matters, but still, it's Elton John, he probably could have done better. Yuck. Can't believe I just had that thought. Anyhow, Tiny Dancer. I remember I heard that song once and then spent like every second I had for an entire week scouring the internet for the piano part for it. Then I downloaded the song and listened to it all the time. When I did finally find the piano I must have played it ten times in a row, and it's a long song. What a good song. Then there's Rocket Man, musical goodness. I have a tape of Elton John. It's a greatest hits tape that I listen to in the Geo when I'm driving to Lake Mills. It has all these songs that I guess were really big, but being born when I was, I have never heard of, but now I love. Just listen to it sometime. I think Tiny Dancer is right up there as one of my favorite songs, but it's not on my tape which is the only sad thing about that tape, but it also has Bennie and the Jets, which has this crazy piano part that takes a lot of skill and sounds amazing. I cannot for the life of me figure it out in my head. So thankyou Elton John, for the music of course.
