89 Cent Hamburgers to Pass

What's happened since I last posted. Umm, Graduation. That's been sort of a mixed feeling thing. I get to call myself a junior, which doesn't mean that much to me, but I suppose is a big enough deal. I was sort of apathetic about school towards the end of this year. Not so much grade wise but just the whole thought of it. My grades dropped a little but not enough to change my grade point. I guess I was just working on other things. I didn't feel like it was that important for some reason. Whatever, that's not what I meant to talk about. Graduation. I didn't really realize how many people in that class I really love, because I've been going to all these parties and I keep seeing people and saying things like, Yeah, we have to hang out, I'll call you. We can go shopping or to a movie or get coffee sometime. I'm going to miss quite a few people, obviously, there are exceptions, but whoa, excessive comma use. Next year will be interesting.

I started nannying again. Long days, but I'm really enjoying it this summer. There have been a couple ongoing challenges, which I'm not going to go into details about, but it's not a big deal. It's been good. I think this is the last summer I'll be able to do it, so I'm trying to really enjoy it. It's a job unlike any other. Sydnie went to Bonnaroo, I'm etremely jealous, that's like a long time dream of mine, she saw Ben Folds at Bonnaroo. What a lucky girl. She saw Beck, and Death Cab for Cutie, and Radiohead as well. I need to go there.

Umm, what else, oh, band. I love band. Band people are more fun than other people. It's been kind of a long bunch of practices though. Hard. Nobody really knows there music, it's getting better, but still. There's the same stuff as every other year.

I'm just about caught up on my scrapbook. I put in May Banquet and Steven's game and these pictures of flowers, and I think they look alright.

I guess that's about it. Oh, here's my question. Why is it that WELS people in the midwest are so good at pot lucks. The announcements in the bulletin always say, bring a dish to pass. Not you bring dessert, you bring a hot dish, you bring salad. How come there is always the perfect amount of each thing. How do people know what to bring? It's really a cool concept. This isn't true everywhere though. One time, my brother went to a pot luck at a WELS church in California and someone brought a bag of 89 cent McDonalds hamburgers. Delicious, but not really practicle for a pot luck. Just think about it though. It's so cool.
