Canada: Where lactose intolerant Wisconsinites suddenly become excessively proud of their cheese.
I'm finally back from band trip. It was a good trip, I had a really awesome time. We saw some incredible things. I love mountains and we saw so many of them. They're one of those things that just makes you wonder. Calgary was also very cool. I think Canadians are some of the greatest people in the world. Nowhere else would a guy smile and wave at you when he realizes he's in the wrong bathroom. I don't really know why, but people are just friendlier there. Calgary was a very cool town. I love big cities, I don't think I'd want to live their forever, but if I go into architecture, I really want to live in some big city, like New York or London, or Seattle, or maybe even Toronto or Calgary for awhile, to study, or maybe even to work. Holy run-on sentence batman. The company was good on the trip. Heather was an awesome seat partner, couldn't have asked for more. People were just fun the whole time. We filled a whole bunch of pages of a notebook with all the ridiculous things people said. Some of the best times were just sitting on the bus and walking through the Stampede. Also, for the record, sleeping on the floor of a bus gives you some super weird dreams. They say that about boats as well. I guess they're pretty similar.
The actual parade was a bit of a letdown. We had to stop in the middle of both of our judge's routines, so the routine got really messed up. We got third over all, which is good, but I feel bad for the outgoing, since their incoming year, they won everything. Oh, color guard got second over all.
I'll probably fill in some other details in the next couple of days. I just wanted to let people know I'm back and how much I missed you(Sydnie and Ellie).
Oh, I just realized that on both of the CD's that I ordered and which arrived the day after I left there is a song called Hospital Bed. Weird.
